Death Of Richard Wright, Littleton, Thurles

It was with great sadness we learned of the death, on Tuesday 9th January 2018, of Mr Richard Wright, No. 14 Church View, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

The passing of Mr Wright is most deeply regretted by his wife Mary; sons Allen, Garry, Michael and Richard; daughters Eileen and Fiona; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother Jimmy; son-in-law Michaél; nieces; nephews; extended relatives and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Wright will repose at his residence today, Thursday, 11th January 2018, from 5.00pm to 8.00pm.

Removal will take place on Friday morning to St. Kevin’s Church, Littleton, Thurles, to arrive at 11.00am for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Death Of Michael Kenehan, Formerly Childers Park, Thurles

Late Michael Kenehan, (R.I.P)

It was with a great personal sadness I learned of the death yesterday, Tuesday 9th January 2018, of Mr Michael Kenehan, College Green and formerly Childers Park, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

A multi-talented individual; gifted with his hands, who at all times demonstrated total loyalty and a strong willingness to assist others; Mr Kenehan passed away suddenly, most deeply regretted by his loving family – his son David; mother Mary; sisters Anne and Grace; brother Brian; partner Donna and family; Aunty Margaret; nephews; Suzanne and family; work colleagues; extended relatives; neighbours and many good friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Kenehan will lie in repose at his mother’s residence (No.40 Kennedy Park, Thurles) on Friday, 12th January, from 4.00pm to 7.00pm.

Arriving at the Cathedral of The Assumption, Thurles on Saturday, 13th January at 10.15am for Requiem Mass at 11.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Luke Thompson, Late Of Thurles, Co. Tipp

It was with great sadness we learned of the death on Monday, 8th January 2018, of Mr Luke Thompson, Gardenrath Road, Kells, Co. Meath and late of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Thompson, (Ex. Post Office, Kells, Co. Meath) passed away; most deeply regretted by his loving wife Maura; sons Mark and Michael; daughters Linda and Laura; brothers Michael and Billy; sisters Kathleen and Anne; in-laws; grandchildren; extended relatives and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Thompson will lie in repose at his home on Wednesday, 10th January, from 2.00pm until 9.00pm.
Removal will take place on Thursday morning, 11th January, at 11.00am, to arrive at St. Brigid’s Church, Church St, Knockmacoony, Oldcastle, Co Meath for funeral Mass at 12.00 noon, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Oldcastle.

Death Of Fr. John Joseph O’Brien, Pallottine Community, Thurles

It was with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Monday 8th January 2018, of Fr. John Joseph O’Brien, Pallottine Community Thurles and formerly USA,   and Killoscully, Co. Tipperary.

Fr. O’Brien passed away peacefully while in the loving care of Woodlands Nursing Home, Dundrum, Co. Tipperary, following a long illness.

Remembered with love and affection by his Pallottine Community; his family Sadie, Maureen, Anne (Carey), Kathleen, Sr. Alfonsa, Margaret, Denis, Martin, Joseph and Liam; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; extended relatives, former parishioners and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Fr. O’Brien will lie in repose at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Silver Street, Nenagh, on Thursday, evening next, 11th of January, from 4.30pm to 7.00pm.

A con-celebrated funeral Mass will be held on Friday, 12th of January at 12.00 noon, in the Pallottine College Chapel, Kickham Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, followed by burial immediately afterwards in the Community Cemetery at St. Mary’s, Cabra.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to Woodlands Nursing Home, Dundrum.

Death Of Frances Egan, Kilkillahara, Thurles

It was with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 6th January 2018, of Mrs Frances Egan (née Maher), Kilkillahara, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by her loving husband Paddy; Mrs Egan passed away peacefully at her home, while in her 80th year.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her brothers Michael and John and her sister Kitty Mai; her sons Michael, Dick, John and Ailbe and daughters Marina, Elaine and Tricia; grandchildren; great-grandchild; daughters-in-law; sons-in-law; brother-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; extended relatives and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Egan will repose at her home this Monday evening from 3.30pm with removal at 7.00pm, to arrive at the Church of The Nativity, Loughmore, at 7.45pm.

Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday morning at 11.30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining Loughmore cemetery.
