It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 13th September 2026, of Mrs Bernadette Shaw Shanahan, Churchview, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her beloved parents Nora and Paddy, sister Patricia and brothers Jack and Patsy; Mrs Shaw Shanahan passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital Clonmel, South Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband Thomas, son James, daughter-in-law Aoife, grandsons Iarlaith and Caolán, sisters Maggie, Mary, Nora and Theresa, brothers Georgie, Sylvester and William, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Shaw Shanahan will repose at O’Connell’s Funeral Home, Killenaule, Thurles, (Eircode E41 HH66) on Wednesday afternoon next, September 16th, from 4:30pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of St Mary, Bailey Street, Killenaule, Thurles at 7:30pm same evening.
Requiem Mass for Mrs Shaw Shanahan will be offered on Thursday morning at 11:30am, followed by a Service of Cremation at Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare, (Eircode V14 PV30) at 3:00pm.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 13th September 2026, of Mr PJ (Patrick Joseph) McGuire, Liskeveen, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents William and Josephine and sister Marian; Mr McGuire passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, following a long illness most bravely borne and while in the care of staff at Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; heartbroken wife Josephine, daughter Lyana, son Darragh, daughter-in-law Catriona and his eight grandchildren, Shay, Harry, Lara, Matthew, Alexa, Lucy, Tom and Dean, sisters Catherine and Teresa (Walsh), brothers Liam, Denis and John, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Pre-deceased by his father Patrick; Mr O’Reilly passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of staff at Milford Hospice.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Margarite (née Butler Lloyd), sons Jack and Andrew, mother Anne, sisters Deirdre and Jennifer, nephews Mark, James and Nicholas, nieces Laura, Emily, Ruth, Sophie and Alex, brothers-in-law Willie and Colin, sisters-in-law Audrey, Claire and Ronnie, aunts, cousins, extended relatives, colleagues in the legal profession, kind neighbours and friends.
