It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 29th May 2026, of Mr Patrick Meaney, No. 4 Banba Terrace, Kickham Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his Dad John and his brother Thomas; Mr Meaney, passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at Pattersons Nursing Home, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving mother Teresa, sister Breda and brother Sean, brother-in-law P.J., sister-in-law Margaret, nephews T.J., John, Daniel and Jack, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Meaney will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Upper Kickham Street, Dublin Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 XY47) on Sunday afternoon, May 31st, from 3:30pm until 5:00pm. His funeral cortège will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, on Monday morning at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by a private Service of Cremation.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, on Tuesday 26th May 2026, of Mrs Eileen Egan (née Kennedy), Clontarf, Co. Dublin; Donnycarney, Co. Dublin and formerly of Ballingarry, (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her beloved husband John and her brother Phillip; Mrs Egan passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at Ashford Nursing Home.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughters Anna Maria and Movita, sons-in-law Paul and Dermot, grandchildren Darragh, Ronan and Louis, brothers Martin and Gus, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughter Tina, nieces Lena, Mary, Catherine and husband Dave, nephews Larry and Tommy, grandnieces Jessie and Kate, Jessie’s partner Shane, grandnephew Seb, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 21st May 2026, of Mrs Ann Marie Gleeson (née Morrissey), ‘The Kerries’, Tralee, Co. Kerry and formerly of Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mrs Gleeson passed away peacefully, while at her place of ordinary residence.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; devoted partner Pádraig, sons Owen and David, daughter Linda. grandchildren Cara, Sophie, Jack and Saoirse, son-in-law Brendan, daughter-in-law Sarah, brothers Davy, Paddy, and Peter, sisters Phyllis and Eileen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, great neighbours, especially Lillian and friends.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, on Monday 18th May 2026, of Mr Andrew (Aindreas) Daly, (former member of An Garda Síochána), Blackrock, Co. Dublin and formerly of Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Daly, sadly, passed unexpectedly, but peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin with his loving wife Margaret by his bedside.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving and devoted wife Margaret, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.
