Death Of Mary Boilson, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, today Saturday 2nd May 2026 of Mrs Mary Boilson (née Ryan), Lahardan, Two Mile Borris, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Cormackstown, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband M.L., her parents James and Catherine, siblings Bridget (Comerford), Kitty (Stakelum), Joe Ryan, Ned Ryan and Sall Ryan (Sr Bridget); Mrs Boilson passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at St. Martha’s Nursing Home, Bansha, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughters Mary (Twomey) and Kaye (Butler), sons Martin and James, daughters-in-law Anne Marie and Yayoi, sons-in-law Aidan and Mike, grandchildren Eva, Mel, Laura, Sean, Kane, Rachel, Calean, Emma and Stacia, niece, nephews, sister-in-law Anne (Clarke, Canada), extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Boilson will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 CP59), on Sunday afternoon, May 3rd, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her remains will he received into the Church of St. James, Two Mile Borris, Thurles, on Monday morning, May 4th, at 10:30am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in nearby Two MIle Borris Cemetery, Two Mile Borris, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Maura Griffin Late Of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, today Saturday 2nd May 2026 of Mrs Maura Griffin (née O’Leary), Bishopstown, Co. Cork and late of Clongour, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Luke, parents William and Helena, and siblings Liam, Eamon, Neilus, Eileen and Dolores; Mrs Griffin passed away peacefully.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving sons Anthony and Arthur (Thurles), daughters-in-law Cathy and Bridie (Thurles), sisters Margot, Anna and Catherine, cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Her remains will be received into the Church of the Real Presence, Curraheen Road, Bishopstown, Co. Cork, on Tuesday, May 5th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Rathcooney Cemetery, Rathcooney, Co. Cork.

Death of Bob Hall, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, today Thursday 30th April 2026, of Mr Robert (Bob) Hall, Graystown, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Hall passed away peacefully at his place of ordinary residence, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Anne, daughters Sarah and Sinéad, sons Robert and Kevin, grand-daughters Meadhbh, Clodagh and Éadaoin, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, on Tuesday 28th April 2026, of Mrs Teresa O’Sullivan (née Sparrow), Ballyphilip, Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her parents Michael and Nora, husband Michael, son Donncha and siblings Michael, Billy, Kitty, Joan, Alice, Peggy, Nora and Charlotte; Mrs O’Sullivan passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at St Teresa’s Nursing Home, Thurles, following a short illness.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughters Marie, Siobhán and Theresa, brother Jackie, grandchildren Gráinne, Eoin, Olga and Rimma, great granddaughter Brianna, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Wednesday 29th April 2026, of Mrs Mary Jo Fanning (née Ryan-Martin), Rosemount, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Glenreigh, Holycross, Thurles and Doorish, Rossmore, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her parents Ned and Maurita; Mrs Fanning passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband Sean, son John, daughter Martina, grand-daughter Róisín, John’s partner Amanda, Róisín’s father Killian, brothers, extended relatives, neighbours, former colleagues in Tesco Liberty Square, Thurles, and a wide circle of friends.

Requiem Mass will be offered for Mrs Fanning on Sunday morning, May 3rd, at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Holycross Abbey graveyard, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
