Death Of Patrick Quigley, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today 6th April 2024, of Mr Patrick Quigley, Mortlestown, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by brothers Jimmy, Jackie, Willie and sister Breda (Walsh); Mr Quigley, sadly, passed away while in the care of staff at at University Hospital, Waterford, following a long illness.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; his loving wife Louise, children Cathy, Tom, Jenny and Caroline, grandchildren Lucy, Murtagh, Tom, Kate, Liam and Ronan, brother Tommy, sisters Rebecca (Quirke) and Deborah (Donovan), son-in-laws David and James, daughter-in-law Victoria, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

Reposing at O’Connell’s Funeral Home, Killenaule, Thurles (E41 HH66) on Monday afternoon, April 8th from 4:30pm until 7:00pm; before arriving at the Church of St Mary, Bailey Street, Killenaule, Thurles at 7:30pm same evening.
Requiem Mass for Mr Quigley will be celebrated on Tuesday morning, April 9th, at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Crosscannon Cemetery, Killenaule , Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Winifred Mason, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Today 6th April 2024, of Mrs Winifred Mason (née Quinn), [Most affectionately known a “Nin Nan”], Lower Stradavoher, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband Larry, son-in-law Joe, great-grandchildren Rhian, Amy and James; Mrs Quinn passed away peacefully, following a short illness, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; daughters Mary and Julie, sons Michael, Billy, Larry, Jim and Pat, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law Michael, daughters-in-law Ann, Mary, Paula, Deirdre and Louise, nephews, nieces, brother-in-law Jim, sisters-in-law Greta, Chrissie, Nuala and Peggy, extended relatives, nieghbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Quinn will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Tuesday afternoon next, April 9th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Wednesday morning, April 10th, at 10:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St Patrick’s cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Friday 4th April 2024, of Mr Michael (Mikey) Cawley, Graigue Bridge, Moycarkey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Tipperary Town, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents John and Eileen, brother Jimmy, sister Mary, nephew Peter; the passing of Mr Cawley is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; his daughters Margaret and Eileen, son John, grandchildren, brothers Johnny, Paddy, Liamy and Thomas, sisters Eileen and Bridget, nephews, nieces, in-laws, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Thursday 4th April 2024, of Mr John Joe Hogan, Grange Road, Baldoyle, Dublin, and formerly of Clonagoose, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his loving parents John and Johanna and brother Denis; the passing of Mr Hogan is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; his loving wife Theresa, daughters Siobhán, Julie and Elizabeth, son Michael, grandchildren Matthew, Kate, Jane, Ali, Tom, Aaron, Hannah, Zoe and Seán, his sister Mary Kenny, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Death Of Breda Walsh, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death today, Wednesday 3rd April 2024, of Mrs Breda Walsh (née Doyle) Marley Grange, Rathfarnham, co. Dublin and formerly of Coolkennedy, Pouldine, Horse & Jockey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her parents Patrick and Catherine; Mrs Walsh sadly passed away following a short illness, while in the care of staff at John Huston Ward, St James Hospital, Dublin.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; her heartbroken husband John, sister Josephine (Clondalkin, Dublin), brother Noel (London), nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.
