It was with great sadness that we learned of the death today, Wednesday 10th April 2024, of Ms Ann Russell, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Boulabeha, Moyne, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her parents Mary and Michael; Ms Russell passed away peacefully following a long illness most bravely borne, while in the care of staff at Unit B, Community Hospital of the Assumption, Castlemeadows, Gortataggart, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; sisters Margaret (Shortt), Mary (Darling) and Josephine (Lawlor), nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law Edward, Ian and Tim, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours, a close circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Ms Russell will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Saturday afternoon, April 13th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles on Sunday morning April 14th at 10:30am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am.
A Cremation Service will be held in the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork on Monday, April 15th, at 12:00 noon.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Tuesday 9th April 2024, of Mr John Dempsey, Ballydavid, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents William and Ann, brother Gerard and sister Bernadette; Mr Dempsey, sadly, passed away suddenly, following a short illness.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; devoted wife Lily (née Kealy), daughter Rachel, son Keith, grandchildren Kyla, Sean, Caraleigh and Lily-Mai, daughter-in-law Sinead, Rachel’s partner Keith, brothers Patrick, Michael and Liam, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours, former Sugar Factory colleagues, and many friends.

His remains will be received into the Church of Our Lady and St Kevin, Ballydavid, Littleton, Thurles on Friday morning, April 12th at 12:00 noon, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 12.30pm, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in Holycross Abbey Cemetery, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his brother Michael; the passing of Mr Doherty is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; his heartbroken parents John and Colette, brother Paul and sister Claire, nephews Jack, Mikey, Ronan and Ruben, extended relatives neighbours and friends.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Philip (Bud), brothers Michael, Noel, Martin and Pat, and sister Ann; Mrs Commins passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at South Tipperary University Hospital Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; her daughters Maura (McCarthy) and Angela, sons-in-law Mark and Greg grandchildren, Majella, Mary, Martha, Josephine, James, Bridget, Louise, Ciara and Orla, brother-in-law Pat sister-in-law Ann, nieces, nephew and extended family and her loyal companion ‘Buster’.
