It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 12th November 2025, of Ms Margaret (Peggy) Power, Monadreen, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her parents Michael and Annie, brother-in-law Paddy (Shanahan) and sister-in-law Nuala (Power); Ms Power passed away peacefully at her place of ordinary residence, surrounded by her family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving brother Tony, sisters Betty (Shanahan) and Áine (O’Dwyer), brother-in-law Foncie, nephews Paul, David, Michael, Declan, Ger and his wife Clare, nieces Danielle, Tracy and Carrie, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, extended relatives, good neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Ms Power will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 CP59) on Sunday afternoon, November 16th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles at 8:00pm same evening. Requiem Mass will be offered for Ms Power on Monday morning, November 17th at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Lognafulla, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her parents Paddy and Margaret Ryan and her sister Ellie Maher, Mrs Ryan passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at Bramleigh Lodge Nursing Home Cahir.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband Pakie, son Phil, daughter-in-law Jean, grandsons Páraic, Eoghan, Philip and Terry and their partners Amy, Ellen and Aideen, her brother Jack, sisters Fanny (Ely), Kathy (Kennedy) and Chris (Bourke), nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Ryan will repose at the home of her son Phil (Eircode E21 EK75), situated at Outrath, Cahir, on Friday afternoon, November 14th, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm same evening. Her remains will be received into the Church of St Mary, Cahir, Co. Tipperary, to further repose for Requiem Mass on Saturday morning, November 14th, at 10:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Pre-deceased by his parents Jack and Kitty (née Delahunty); Mr O’Dwyer passed away peacefully at his place of residence, following a short illness.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Gabriella (McLoughney), daughters Chelsie and Keely, grand-daughter Ruby, brothers John and Conor, sisters Siobhan (Minogue), Caitríona (Harold) and Mary (Doyle), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, mother-in-law Gerda, aunt Mary, uncle Colm, godmother Joan, nephews, nieces, cousins and wide circle of friends.

It was with a great personal sadness that I learned of the death, yesterday Friday 7th November 2025, of Mr Tom O’Dowd, Graiguenoe, Holycross, Thurles, Tipperary, and formerly of Emmett Square, Williamstown, Blackrock, Co. Dublin.
Pre-deceased by his parents Josie and Tom, Mr O’Dowd sadly passed away, unexpectedly, following a long illness, while in the care of staff at St James Hospital, Dublin.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; wife Lizzie (née Kinane, Barnane, Templemore), sons Kieran and Eoin, daughter Gráinne (Staklelum), adored grandsons Fionn and Tadgh, Eoin’s partner Michelle and her son James, son-in-law Aidan, sister Valerie and her husband John (Hammond, Drumcondra, Dublin), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended relatives, former colleagues in Revenue, neighbours and many friends.

It was with sadness that we learned of the death, on Thursday 6th November 2025, of Mr Cornelius Keane, Kincora Terrace, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Keane sadly passed away while in the care of staff at the Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Crosspatrick, Co. Kilkenny.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving daughter Sinead, son David and former wife Ann, grandchildren, his sister Mary, brothers Ger and Tom, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.
