Death Of Timmy Ryan, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday, Wednesday 17th January 2024 of Mr Timothy (Timmy) Ryan (Ned), Kyle, Rossmore, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Drombane, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his brothers Eugene, Michael and Joe; Mr Ryan passed away peacefully at his place of residence.

His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Anna, children Dermot, Anne (Tobin), Kevin and Owen, his sister Anne (English), son-in-law Jim, daughters-in-law Martina and Celine, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Ryan will repose at Hayes Funeral Chapel, Clonoulty, Cashel on Friday afternoon, January 19th, from 5:30pm until 7.30pm, before being received into the Church of Jesus Christ Our Saviour, Drum, Rossmore, arriving at 8:15pm approx.
Requiem Mass for Mr Ryan will be celebrated on Saturday morning, January 20th at 11:30am, followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard.

Death Of Mary Farrell, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Sunday last, 14th January 2024 of Mrs Mary Farrell (née O’Brien), Hillcrest, Yellow Walls, Malahide, Co. Dublin and late of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Peter, brothers Pat and Bobby and sister Margaret; Mrs Farrell, sadly, passed away suddenly at her place of residence.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving sons Eoghan and Conor, daughter Rhona, grandchildren Jake, Harry and Lara, daughters-in-law Irene and Valerie, sister Phil, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Farrell will repose at Rock’s Funeral Home, North St, Swords, Co. Dublin, on tomorrow afternoon, Thursday, January 18th, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.
Her remains will be received into the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seabury Avenue, Estuary Road, Malahide, Co. Dublin on Friday morning, January 19th at 11:30am, to further repose for Requiem Mass, followed by interment in Fingal Cemetery, Balgriffin, Co Dublin.

Death Of Rosie Walsh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Monday 15th January 2024, of Ms Hanora (Rosie) Walsh, Gortnahoe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by her adoring parents Christopher and Bridget, her brother Daniel (who died in infancy), niece Claire (Walsh), brother-in-law Pat (Langton) and nephew Paul; Ms Walsh passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her devoted family; brothers Billy, Michael, Christopher and Gerard, sisters Mary (Langton) and Breda (Bergin), sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a close circle of friends.

The earthly remains of Ms Walsh will repose at the residence of her sister Mrs Breda Bergin, Gortnahoe, Thurles, (E41 T9N3) on tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday, January 17th, from 5:00pm, pausing for prayers at 7:30pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the nearby Church of the Sacred Heart, Gortnahoe, Thurles on Thursday morning, to further repose for ‘Mass of the Angels’ at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the Good Shepherd Cemetery, Gortnahoe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Maura Purcell, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Monday 15th January 2024 of Mrs Mary Ann (Maura) Purcell (née Bowe), Castletown, Moyne, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Creenkillmore, Gathabawn, Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny.

Pre-deceased by her loving husband Seán, sisters Margaret (Gretta), Bridget (Sr. Teresina) and Stella, brothers James and Loughlin, beloved aunt and grand-aunt; Mrs Purcell passed away peacefully, while in the care of her family and staff at Marymount Care Centre, Lucan.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Death Of Ann Fogarty, Boherlahan, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Monday 15th January 2024, of Mrs Ann Fogarty (née Flanagan), Grangebeg, Boherlahan, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her parents Josephine and Paddy, husband Paddy and sisters Mary (Croke) and Veronica (Angione); Mrs Fogarty passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family; Patrick, Ina, Michael and Verina, daughters-in-law Bridget and Jo, son-in-law Sean, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Andy, sister Eileen D’Arcy, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.
