It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Saturday 15th August 2026, of Mr Martin Hanrahan, The Village, Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his brother John and sister Biddy; Mr Hanrahan, sadly, passed away while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, South Tipperary.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving sister Lilly, nephew James (Morrissey), grandniece Michela (Morrissey) and grandnephew Brandon (Condon), extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Hanrahan will repose at O’Connell’s Funeral Home, Killenaule, Thurles, (Eircode E41 HH66), on tomorrow afternoon, Monday August 17th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of the Assumption, Ballingarry (SR), Thurles, (Eircode E41 X523) at 7:30pm, same evening.
Funeral Mass for Mr Hanrahan will be offered on Tuesday morning, August 18th, at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
