It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Sunday 17th July 2022, of Mr Christy Mooney, ‘Ashfield’, Galboola, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by brothers Peter, John, Seamus, Paddy and Phil, his sisters Maggie and Eileen; Mr Mooney passed away peacefully at his place of residence.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Kathleen, daughters Miriam and Elaine, son Chris, sons-in-law Kieran and Brendan, Chris’ partner Bruno, grandchildren Fionn, Rory and Rohan, sister Mary Lahart, brother Martin, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and good friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Mooney will repose at his residence (E41 FP97) on tomorrow evening, Tuesday, July 19th, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
His body will be received into the Church of St. Peter, Moycarkey, Thurles, to further repose for Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning, July 20th, at 11.30am, followed by interment in the nearby Moycarkey Old Cemetery, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
