Death Of Pakie Phelan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 20th January 2022, of Mr Pakie Phelan, Curraduff, Upperchurch, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

The passing of Mr Phelan is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Nora (Brown), sons John, Peter and Vincent, daughters Michelle, Marie and Orlagh, grandchildren Ashton, Grace, Ellie, Chloe, Ava, Liam, Fionn, Harry and Matthew, sisters Annie, Mary and Theresa, sons in law Mark and Willie, daughter-in-law Lana, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Requiescat in Pace.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Phelan will repose at O’Dwyer’s Funeral Home, Upperchurch, Thurles on tomorrow evening, Sunday January 23rd, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

His body will be received into the Church of the Sacred Heart, Upperchurch, Thurles to further repose for Requiem Mass on Monday morning, January 24th, at 11.30am, followed by burial in the local nearby cemetery.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mr Phelan, but are unable to do so due to the Covid-19 pandemic; same can be viewed online HERE.

[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending Requiem Mass will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing, face covering, with no hand shaking.]
