Death Of Jim Scott, Thurles, Co. Tipperary

It was with a great personal sadness that I learned of the death yesterday, Tuesday 11th August 2020, of Mr James (Jim) Scott, Kylenoe, Horse & Jockey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Noreen, brothers Billy and Patrick, sisters Mary, Eileen, Marianne, Phyllis and Carmel; Mr Scott passed away peacefully at his place of residence, surrounded by his loving family.

The passing of Mr Scott will be most deeply regretted by his loving wife Ann; his family, Mary (Quinn), Martina (Rigney), Timothy and James; sons-in-law Nicky and Paul; daughters-in-law Annette and Niamh; grandchildren to whom Mr Scott was devoted, namely Michaela, Eimear, Jack, Luke, Nicola, Aidan, Andrew and Aoibhín; sister Anne O’Sullivan; brothers-in-law Larry and David; nephews; nieces; extended relatives; neighbours and many friends.

Requiescat in Pace.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Scott will repose at his residence tomorrow evening, Thursday August 13th, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, with strict adherence to social distancing and face coverings required.
Requiem Mass will be held on Friday morning in St. Peter’s Church, Moycarkey, Thurles, at 11.30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Moycarkey, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
