“Keep fighting hard against Covid-19 virus”
This evening, the Department of Health has confirmed that there have been Zero new death caused by this pandemic, leaving the overall death toll here in the Republic of Ireland remaining at 1,772.
However, there are 68 new additional cases reported to the Department of Health, leaving the current total number of confirmed cases, since conception, at 26,712.
One new case has been identified here in Co. Tipperary, bringing our overall confirmed total to 547.
Meanwhile, another healthcare worker fights for life this evening after contracting Covid-19 and becomes the 53rd member within the health sector to be admitted to an ICU after testing positive.
