It is with great sadness we learned of the death today, Saturday 28th October 2017, of Mr James (Jimmy) Tobin, Williamstown, The Commons, Thurles, Co. Tipperary
Mr Tobin passed away peacefully while in the loving care of the nurses and staff at Acorn Lodge Nursing Home, Cashel, Co. Tipperary, in his 100th year.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his devoted family; Matt, Pat, Anne, Phil, John, Bernie, James, Joseph, Francis and Aidan; sons-in-law; daughters-in-law; grandchildren; nieces; nephews; brother-in-law Fr. Benignus Buckley OFM; extended relatives and a wide circle of friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Tobin will repose at Doyle’s Funeral Home, Urlingford, Co Kilkenny, on Monday from 5.30pm until 7.30pm, followed by removal to the Church of The Assumption, Ballingarry (SR), Co. Tipperary, to arrive at 8.15pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday at 11.30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Note: Rosary will be recited in Doyle’s Funeral Home on Sunday evening at 7.45pm.
