Pre-deceased by his loving brothers John and William; Mr Croke passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at South Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving wife Eileen, brother Jeffery, sister’s Nellie, Mary, Celine and Ann, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, stepsons Will and Fergus, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

At 1:00am tomorrow morning clocks will go forward one hour to 2:00am, while our tablets, computers and smartphones will, hopefully, update themselves automatically.
The practice of changing clocks was first introduced to save energy costs. With no legislative changes have taken place as yet, despite discussions regarding same to scrap the practice of adjusting clocks; under current EU law all 27 member states will continue to observe twice annual changes; with clocks going forward on the last Sunday in March, before going back again on the last Sunday in October.
The majority of countries outside Europe and North America do not adjust their clocks.
Pre-deceased by her husband Willie and granddaughter Nadine; Mrs Heffernan sadly passed away at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Heffernan will repose at O’Donoghue’s Funeral Home, Kickham Street, Clonmel on Wednesday afternoon, April 3rd, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening. Her remains will be received into the Church of St Mary, Irishtown, Burgagery-Lands West, Clonmel, to further repose for Requiem Mass on Thursday, April 4th, at 12:00 noon, followed, immediately afterwards, by interment in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

A female passenger, aged in her 30s has lost her life following a two-vehicle collision on the N24 in Co Tipperary last night, Friday March 29th, 2024.
The collision happened near Kilsheelan at around 10:00pm, with the passenger in one of the vehicles pronounced dead at the scene, before her body was removed to Waterford University Hospital.
The driver of the car, a man in his 40s, was also taken to Waterford University Hospital (WUH) with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver and a passenger of the second vehicle, understood to be men in their late teens, were also brought taken to WUH, also with non-life-threatening injuries.
Another passenger in the second car, a woman in her late teens, was brought to Tipperary University Hospital again with non-life-threatening injuries.
The scene remains preserved for examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and traffic diversions are in place. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dash-cam footage travelling in that area of the N24 at between 9:30pm and 10:10pm last night, are asked to contact Gardaí, at Clonmel Garda Station Tel: 052 617 7640, the Garda Confidential Line Tel: 1800 666 111, or indeed any Garda Station.
