Death Of Mary Ryan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Sunday 7th July 2024, of Mrs Mary Ryan (née Carey), Currabaha Cross, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Kilfithmone, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mrs Ryan passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; husband Tim, children, Denise, Brenda, Sinéad, Michael, Eimear and Claire, grandchildren, Saoirse, Emma, Conor, Laura and Thomas, son-in-law Cathal, partners, brothers Pat, Johnny and Bill, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Ryan will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Castlequarter, Borrisoleigh (E41 VX81) on Tuesday afternoon from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
A private cremation service will take place at Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare, (V14 PV30) on Wednesday, July 10th next.

Death Of Daniel Fogarty, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Friday 5th July 2024, of Mr Daniel Fogarty, Pike Street, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his father Edward, mother Bridget and sister Ann Johnson (York, UK); Mr Fogarty passed away peacefully at his place of residence.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; heartbroken wife Teresa, daughters Geraldine and Ann Marie, son Edward, brother Marcus (Cashel) and sister Mary (New York), sons-in-law Barney (O’Mahony) and Daniel (Mullins), grandchildren Jason, Tara, Laura, Sarah and Lucy and his nine great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbours and his many friends, (including those in Suir Valley Vintage Car Club.)

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Fogarty, will repose at O’Connell’s Funeral Home, Killenaule, Thurles, (E41 HH66), on tomorrow afternoon, Monday, July 8th, from 4:30pm until 7:00pm, before arriving at St Mary’s Church, Bailey Street, Killenaule, Thurles, at 7:30pm, same evening.
Requiem Mass for Mr Fogarty will be celebrated on Tuesday morning, July 9th, at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in nearby Crosscannon Cemetery. Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Friday 5th July 2024, of Mrs Mena (Philomena) Deere
Avoca House, Cratloe (The Abbey Inn, Dublin Road), Co. Clare and formerly of Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband Jim, daughter Majella and granddaughter Meg; Mrs Deere passed away peacefully at her place of residence.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; son Pat, daughter Catherine (Deck), son-in-law Dan, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, niece, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Her remains will be received into the Cathedral of St. John, Cathedral Place, Irishtown, Co. Limerick, [V94 H521], on Tuesday morning, July 9th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Kilcommon Cemetery, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Bridie Shelly, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Thursday 4th July 2024, of Ms Bridget (Bridie) Shelly, ‘San Jose’, Clongour, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, and formerly of Parnell Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

In her 105th year and pre-deceased by her parents Margaret and Hugh, brothers Timmy and Michael, sister Eileen (Bowe); Ms Shelly passed away peacefully at her place of residence, surrounded by her devoted family and carers.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; nephew Michael Bowe and his wife Abbie, Br Gregory Bowe, niece Mary Butler and her husband Tom, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, great-grandnephews, great-grandnieces, extended relatives, carers, neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass for Ms Shelly will be celebrated on Sunday morning, July 7th, at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
