Tipperary Walk-in Vaccination Clinic In Clonmel Tomorrow Only.

On tomorrow, Saturday 21st August 2021, a “Walk-in Vaccination Clinic” will be available from 12:30pm until 4:00pm at the Clonmel Park Hotel, same situated at the Poppyfield Retail Park, Cahir Rd, Ballingarrane South, Clonmel, South Co. Tipperary.

Here Pfizer Vaccine will be available to all in attendance aged 16 years and over and who wish to receive a 1st vaccine dose.

Note: No appointment is necessary and those aged 16 and 17 can be accompanied by one Parent or Guardian.

Registration will also be undertaken at the Vaccination Centre stated for those not already registered previously.

Candidates are requested to attend accompanied by 5 easily obtainable pieces of information, stated as follows:-
(1) Your Personal Public Service Number (PPSN);
(2) Photo Identification. [e,g. passport, driving licence or garda age card]
(3) Details of your Eircode address.
(4) Email address.
(5) Mobile/home telephone number.

Work On New Holycross Road Roundabout Gets Underway

Work has eventually begun on the upgrade to the roundabout on the Holycross road.

Situated on the R-660, on Abbey Road, west of the town; funding of €75,000 had been allocated and announced for this project on February 1st 2019 last, some 2½ years ago.

Speaking to a few motorists, same are condemning the use of the motorway signage used in its construction, claiming that the eight massive signs now introduced, will block driving visibility, particularly facing west into late evening bright sun light, thus endangering pedestrians using the newly erected pedestrian crossings.

Agricultural contractors and members of the farming community are also unhappy with the overall upgrade, claiming the roundabout is too large and restrictive for the towing of trailers and other large machinery.

Word of warning to all motorists:
If you are travelling eastwards down Abbey Road, as you leave the roundabout do take care, [See Above] as a 4 inch deep pothole awaits to destroy a wheel rim or one of your tyres, on arrival at the other side.

3,781 Cases Of Covid-19 Confirmed On Island Of Ireland In Last 24 Hours.

In the Republic of Ireland, the Department of Health has confirmed 1,818 new cases of Covid-19 within the past 24 hours. The number of people being treated for the virus in our hospitals now stands at 244, with 52 of these patients in our intensive care units (ICU’S).

Some 124,000 people in the 12-15 age group have now signed up to be vaccinated, with 72,000 of these having been already administered with their first dose.

In Northern Ireland there were another 1,963 cases of coronavirus reported today. Currently there remain 379 patients with Covid in Northern Ireland’s hospitals, 46 of whom are patients in intensive care units (ICU’S). Sadly, also today, 9 further coronavirus-related deaths have been reported.

The Chairperson of the British Medical Association in Northern Ireland Dr. Tom Black, has stated that it is inevitable that unvaccinated people will become infected with Covid-19, as Northern Ireland remains lagging behind England, Scotland, Wales and Republic of Ireland, in terms of the vaccinating of the 18-29 age group.

The above confirmed figures bring to 3,781 in total the overall number of new Covid-19 cases present on the whole island of Ireland, reported over the past 24 hours; up 575 cases based on yesterday’s figures.

Covid-19 has not gone away.
The battle against Covid–19 is sadly far from over.

Death Of Denis Dunlea, Loughmore, Co.Tipperary.

It is with the deepest regret and sadness that we learned of the death, on Tuesday 17th August 2021, of Mr Denis Dunlea, Kilnasare, Loughmore, Templemore Co.Tipperary. [E41 TR83]

Pre-deceased by his parents Denis and Ellen; Mr Dunlea passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Limerick University Hospital, Co Limerick.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his sister Kathleen Ryan (Connells Cross, Drom), brother-in-law John, nieces, nephews, great-grand nieces and nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Requiescat in Pace.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Dunlea will repose for Requiem Mass in the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Loughmore, Co. Tipperary on Friday morning at 11:30 am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended the funeral service for Mr Dunlea, but are unable to do so, due to current coronavirus pandemic restrictions; same can be viewed online HERE.

Bench Warrant For Arrest of UCD Professor, Dolores Cahill.

We first wrote about Dolores Cahill on Thurles.info when she failed to remove election posters, in the Thurles area, thus constituting an offence under section 19 of the Irish Litter Pollution Act 1997 and the Electoral (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 2009.

Then Irish Freedom Party chairperson Dolores Cahill came second-last in the Tipperary constituency with just 0.6% or 521 first preference votes

By the time the posters were eventually removed Dolores Cahill owed Tipperary County Council an estimated €10,250 under this same Litter Pollution Act of 1997 and the Electoral (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 2009. Whether they ever collected their outstanding debt we cannot confirm.

Arrest Warrant Issued For Dolores Cahill.

Now we are aware that on August 10th last, a warrant was issued for Dolores Cahill’s arrest.

The bench warrant for the arrest of Dolores Cahill, a UCD Professor, has been issued in London, for her failure to turn up to a number of scheduled court hearings.

The misinformed and prominent Covid sceptic and anti-vaccination campaigner, now facing charges arising out of an alleged illegal rally, involving more than 30 people, held in Trafalgar Square, London in September of last year.

The initial hearing was held on June 16th last, at Westminster Magistrates Court. She was not required to attend on that particular hearing date in person, but she was invited to submit a plea, which she failed to provide.

Cahill then gave her address as care of the Irish Freedom Party, Kandoy House, 2 Fairview Strand, Dublin 3; latter (for the benefit of our overseas readers), is a very minor right-wing hard, Eurosceptic, political party, which has reared its head here in Ireland to no great a following.

Cahill failed to appear before a court hearing on July 3rd last. She again failed to appear at a hearing on July 20th and at her latest hearing scheduled on August 10th last. It was at this hearing that a warrant was issued for her immediate arrest. Her case has now been adjourned until September 10th next.

Cahill was forced to resigned her post as Irish Freedom Party chairperson, following a speech, which she gave at an anti-lock down rally in Herbert Park in Co. Dublin on St. Patrick’s Day. It was here that she stated that children who wore face masks were being “starved” of oxygen and would end up having a lower IQ. Cahill had stated, “Wake up parents. Oxygen is required for your brain to function and I am saying to the children and teenagers of the world; to their parents and teachers; that the individual ministers and prime ministers across the world have failed you. The reason that the globalists are pulling down the masks is that oxygen-deprived people are easier to manipulate. If the police stopped doing criminal and unlawful behaviour, this thing would be over. If everybody just stopped wearing masks, this (the Covid-19 pandemic) would be over .”

Last month outside the Dublin Bay South by-election count centre, (Video Above) Cahill was denied entry for failing and refusing to wear a mask. Cahill who was running as an Independent candidate, claimed she had an “inalienable right” to bodily integrity and therefore was not required to wear a mask.

A leaflet released by Cahill ahead of the recent Dublin Bay South by-election made a number of ill-informed and grossly misleading claims about Covid-19 vaccines. In same leaflet, Cahill claimed that mRNA vaccines “have never been approved” and also made a misleading claim about deaths associated with vaccine clinical trials. Same saw her, as expected, eliminated on the third count, with a meagre 179 votes.

The Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors described Cahill’s tyrade on Gardaí; latter who were on security duty at the Dublin Bay South count centre, as simply “abhorrent”, when she claimed that by refusing to allow her to enter the count centre, was the equivalent of being “raped”.

Why the Irish authorities have failed to arrest Cahill, who has behaved similarly with regards to unlawful assemblies here in Ireland, remains, to the vast majority of Irish law-abiding citizens, a total mystery.
