Le Château ‘Choos’ and Le Château Clothing Boutique showcased their annual Autumn/Winter 2013 Clothing, Shoes and Jewellery Collection on Thursday 26th September last in The Anner Hotel, Thurles, Co Tipperary.
The event which began at 7:30pm, offered the large attendance complementary wine together with a host of other light refreshments before being seated. Some fabulous prizes were also on offer for those in attendance at what turned out to be a thoroughly enjoyable Gala evening.
Tickets for this glamorous annual event were just €15 each, with total proceeds being donated to St Vincent de Paul, latter the largest, voluntary, charitable organisation here in Ireland, committed to working for social justice and the creation of a more just and caring national community.
Exclusive fashion labels in Shoes, Bags, Jewellery, Gloves, Wraps, Scarves and Hats included Beverly Feldman, Chie Mihara, Alex Gold, Satryani, Tracey Neuls, Papucei, Otazu, Maria Calderara, Totoborello, Ganteb’s, Amati Chic, Airfield, Lanzetti, Luisa Cerano and Ganteb.
Europe’s leading and exclusive Fashion House clothing labels were also on show, e.g. Luisa Cerano, Bleu Blanc Rouge, Beate Heymann, Annas Dress Affair, A-Z, Isabel de Pedro, Ischiko, Creenstone, Jota+Ge, Leo Guy, Nougat, Gustav, M.C. Planet, Legatte, Brax, and Fred Sabatier.
The “Le Château,” boutiques here in Thurles, carry a wide range of designs in footwear clothing and jewellery to suit both casual and formal occasions.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVP) needs no introduction being the largest, voluntary, charitable organisation here in Ireland. Its membership of some 10,500 volunteers throughout Ireland are supported by a professional staff, all working for social justice and the creation of a more just, caring nation. This unique network of social concern also gives practical support to those experiencing poverty and social exclusion, by providing a wide range of services to people in need.
The presentation represented the proceeds of Boutique Salon’s most enjoyable evening event entitled “Style Me Wonderful,” held at “The Watermill ,” Thurles town’s newest & most impressive licensed hostelry.

Three individual ladies from north Co Tipperary have all been short listed for the Network Ireland Awards expected to be held in Cork next month.
They include a Cookery School Proprietor, a Fashion Designer and the General Manager of a Car Dealership.
Sarah Baker: Nominated in the ‘Emerging Business‘ category, Sarah set up the Cloughjordan House Cookery School & Events Venue back in 2009 and today employs seven full-time staff together with some part-time staff. Sarah Baker has also expanded into the Wedding business and is offering Cooking Classes to Transition Year students.
Marion Murphy Cooney: Nominated in the ‘Established Business‘ category, Marion operates as a fashion designer producing ‘made to measure’ pieces. Based in Friar Street, Nenagh, Marion, trading as MMC, has also introduced a ‘ready to wear’ collection, currently on sale through a number of other fashion boutique outlets.
Fiona Connolly: Nominated in the ‘Employee’ category, Fiona is currently General Manager of the car dealership Lyons of Nenagh and is head of marketing for the Lyons Group in Limerick taking care of the brands; Landrover, Ford, Volvo and Jaguar in the Mid-West region.
Earlier this year these three businesswomen won their respective categories at the Network North Tipperary Business Women of the Year Awards, sponsored and promoted this year by AIB and the North Tipperary County Enterprise Board.

Singer Daniel O’Donnell must now be forced to change the lyrics of his song, “Tipperary Girl.” Reason being, and this will come as no surprise to many, that the red haired Tipperary beauty Miss Aoife Walsh has now been crowned Miss Ireland 2013.
Aoife, who hails from Giantsgrave, Clonmel, Co Tipperary, succeeds Belfast’s Rebecca Maguire, last years winner.
The 23 year old Miss Walsh, who recently graduated as a secondary school teacher from Trinity College in Dublin, easily beat off 23 other contestants, to claim the much coveted beauty prize in Dublin last night.
Last night’s ceremony included judges Virginia Macari of Dublin Wives & Podge & Rodge fame, the former successful Miss World Olivia Treacy and former Miss Ireland Sarah Morrissey.
Miss Ireland 2013 will now go on to attend the 63rd edition of the Miss World pageant.
All Tipperary will have their fingers crossed for Aoife at this years Miss World pageant, which will be held on September 28th, 2013, at the 10,120 seat capacity Sentul International Convention Center (SICC), latter a commercial conference hall in the residential area of Sentul City, Bogor, West Java, Indonesia.
Every success Aoife from all in Co Tipperary, we will be watching with immense pride.
Last nights star studded event also featured a performance from former X Factor star Mary Byrne.

Recessionary times were briefly forgotten here in Thurles on Thursday night last, as customers from Boutique Salon, Parnell Street, joined St Vincent de Paul members and volunteers, for what turned out to be a most informative and truly enjoyably gala event.
The event, which began at 7.30pm and aptly entitled “Style Me Wonderful,” was the brain child of Natasha Doyle, owner/proprietor of Boutique Salon, and her team, who are situated on Parnell Street here in Thurles, working closely with local charity members and volunteers who actively support that remarkable charity, St Vincent de Paul.

The main attraction for the evening was a visit from Corporate & Personal Image Consultant Caroline Ryan. Caroline is a much sought after ‘Image Consultant,’ whose goal is to help people gain confidence and fulfilment by developing their own personal image. Caroline’s passion lies not in fashion but in the art of easy, timeless style, and works closely with her clients, teaching them how to create their own unique style which matches their body shape, tastes, personality and lifestyle needs.
As well as being an experienced Style-Coach, Caroline has worked for many years as a marketing professional, specialising in the fields of business marketing, brand management, public relations, customer care and service quality. Caroline is also an experienced radio presenter having presented and produced a variety of shows over the past four years.
Christophe Issaad (Manager “The Watermill,”) latter Thurles town’s newest & most impressive licensed hostelry, was also on hand to oversee the distribution of a magnificent array of finger foods, taking the form of Canapé and Bouchée and to pour that ever welcome glass of wine, chosen especially for the occasion by Natasha for this charity event.
Boots Pharmacy Thurles were on hand in the forms of the lovely Emma Rossitor (Assistant Manager Boots) & Martha Dempsey (Weekend Beauty Advisor Boots) both measuring skin colour and matches to perfect skin-true foundation using the pharmacy’s new No 7 Foundation Match Made Service, to the large assembly gathered.
“Hats by Carmel,” (Carmel Moore, Tel No 0504-23181) from Monaincha House, Roscrea, Co Tipperary was amongst those showing off just some of her large range of millinery, each hat & fasinator, all hand-crafted with love & made to order, just ideal & so essential for today’s Ladies Day outing at the races, that special family wedding or indeed any special occasion.

Natasha Doyle Boutique Salon Thurles Tipperary
Natasha Doyle started hairdressing in 2000 with Peter Mark in Kilkenny and was the first Junior Stylist to graduate with a full Distinction 13, latter securing her a place with the internationally renowned hair dressing company & UK based chain Toni & Guy. Here she further continued her training to become a hair cutting specialist.
Now working between Dublin and Kilkenny, the decision was made to return to her home town of Thurles and open her own Salon. Thus on April 3rd 2009, the now thriving “Boutique Salon,” situated on Parnell Street, was born, turning her long awaited dream into a reality.
Natasha, still to date, continues her business education & is a regular attendee at Toni and Guy courses held both in Ireland and London, and as a label m concept Salon, Natasha thus maintains a direct link with the company keeping up to date and on current trend with all that is fashion in hair.
In 2011, following a selection and assessment process, Natasha was chosen as one of just 10 people in Ireland to progress her chosen career, having applied for a Masters Degree course and she later graduated with a Masters in Colouring Techniques, following completion of the L’Oreal Colour Specialist degree course, latter the highest accolade that can be achieved with hair colouring in Ireland.
