Death Of George Doherty, Formerly Templemore, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Tuesday 2nd May 2023, of Mr George Doherty, Clonshaugh, Co. Dublin; and formerly of Sandymount, Co. Dublin and Templemore, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his sons John-Paul, Joseph and baby Thomas, his brothers Davy and Tony and sister Frances; Mr Doherty passed away peacefully, at his place of residence, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving partner May, children Christine, David, Kevin, Janet, Kev, Pauline and Ciara, sons-in-law Dicky, David and Vinny, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Doherty will repose at their family home on Thursday afternoon, May 4th, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

His remains will be received into the Church of St. Brendan, No.5 Coolock Village, Kilmore, Dublin 5, on Friday morning, May 5th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by Cremation in Dardistown Crematorium, Collinstown Cross, Old Airport Rd, Dardistown, Co. Dublin.

For those persons who are unable to attend the funeral service at 11:00am for Mr Doherty, the Church service can be viewed, streamed live online HERE; while the Crematorium Service can be viewed, streamed live at 2:30pm, HERE.

Death Of Eddie Teehan, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Wednesday 5th April 2023, of Mr Edward (Eddie) Teehan, Liverpool, England and formerly of Boulea Hill, The Commons, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his wife Mary, his parents, brothers and sisters; Mr Teehan passed away peacefully at his place of residence.

His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving daughter Anne, son-in-law Karl, grandson Tom, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Death Of Bridie Higgins, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Monday 1st May 2023, of Mrs Bridget (Bridie) Higgins (née Daly), hitherto Mrs Bridget Sullivan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly London and Salterstown, Co. Louth.

Pre-deceased by her two husbands Mr Tony (Higgins) and Mr Chris (Sullivan), her brothers John and Philip and sisters Mary and Josie; Mrs Higgins, sadly, passed away following a long illness most bravely borne, while surrounded by her loving family and staff at Rush Nursing Home, St. Maur’s Park, Rush, Co. Dublin.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sons and daughters, Michael, Theresa, Brian and Carol, brothers Paddy, Michael, Gerard and Frank, sisters Eileen, Patricia, Dolly and Veronica, sons-in-Law Paul and Stephen, daughter-in-law Silvia, grandchildren Anthony, Liam, Clare, Sinead, Ciara, Maya and Juliet, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs Higgins will repose at Fitzgerald’s Funeral Directors, Chanel Road, Rush, Co. Dublin, on Thursday afternoon, May 4th, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.
Her remains will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, on Friday morning, May 5th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am.
Mass will be followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of John O’Dwyer, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 30th April 2023, of Mr John O’Dwyer, Clareen, Ballycahill, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr O’Dwyer passed away peacefully at his place of residence, surrounded by his loving family, following a short illness most bravely borne.

His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, daughters Joanne, Denise and Majella, sons Shane and Mark, grandchildren Dylan, Isla, Ada and Anna, sons-in-law Kenny and Liam, Majella’s partner Kevin and Shane’s partner Cliona, brothers Dinny, Noel and Liam, sisters Josie, Mary and Stella, sisters-in-law and brothers in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives neighbours and friends.

Interment will take place immediately afterwards in Kilvalure Cemetery, Drombane, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Gloria O’Shea, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Saturday 29th April 2023, of Mrs Gloria O’Shea (née Dullea), Pallas Street, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Glasheen Cork.

Mrs O’Shea passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Limerick University Hospital, Dooradoyle, Co. Limerick.

Pre-deceased by her brother Michael; her passing is most deeply regretted by her husband Pádraig, brothers and sisters Nell, Tom, Kay, John and Charles, her step-children Niall, Seán, Páidí, Cathal and Bríd, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, stepdaughters-in-law, grand nieces, grand nephews, step-grandchildren, extended relatives neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs O’Shea will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Borrisland South, Borrisoleigh, Co. Tipperary on tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday, May 2nd, from 4:00pm, before being received into the Church of the Sacred Heart, Pallas Street, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, at 7:00pm same evening.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning, May 3rd at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
