It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 4th April 2025, of Mr John (Seán) Carew, (retired Airport Police Shannon), Coill Mhara, Shannon, Co. Clare and formerly of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Carew passed away peacefully at Cahercalla Community Hospital, Ennis, Co. Clare, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; wife Mary Anne (née Bowe, Leigh, Two Mile Borris, Thurles), daughters Sharon (Delahunt), Andrea and Caroline (Murphy), sons-in-law Paul, Cathal and Rory, grandchildren Greg, Colin, Oisín, Evan, Sam and Hannah, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Carew will repose at Mahons Funeral Home, Ballycasey, Shannon, Co. Clare on Sunday afternoon, April 6th from 4:00pm until 5:30pm. His remains will be received into the Church of St John and St Paul, Tullyvarraga, Shannon, Co. Clare, on Monday morning, April 7th, to further repose for funeral Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment afterwards in Illaunmanagh Cemetery, Tullyvarraga, Shannon, Co. Clare.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 4th April 2025 of Mr Joseph (Joe) Manning, Brothers of Charity, St Patrick’s Gardens, Deerpark Road, Cashel, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Ballingarry (South Riding), Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Mannings, passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at the Brothers of Charity, Cashel.
Pre-deceased by his mother Mary Manning and grandparents Margaret and Joe Manning; the passing of Mr Manning is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving brother Mickey, cousin Agnes Phelan, extended relatives, neighbours, friends and residents and Staff of the Brothers of Charity, St. Patrick’s Gardens.

The earthly remains of Mr Manning will repose at Brothers of Charity, St. Patrick’s Gardens, Cashel, tomorrow afternoon, Sunday, April 6th from 5:30pm until 7:00pm same evening. His remains will be received into the Church of St John the Baptist, Friar Street, Cashel on Monday April 7th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Ballingarry (SR), Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Tuesday 25th February 2025 of Mrs Patricia (Pat) Nelder (née O’Halloran), Canvey Island, Essex, England and formerly of Rathclough South, Dualla, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
In her 90th year and pre-deceased by her parents Dermot and Elsie O’Halloran (nee Barrett) and sister Rose (Nelder) and Joan (Husbands); Mrs Nelder passed away peacefully at Basildon University Hospital, Nether Mayne, Basildon SS16 5NL, United Kingdom.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving husband Ronnie, daughters Teresa, Angela and Julie; sons Michael, Graham and Ronnie, brother John, sister-in-law Phyllis, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Pre-deceased by her husband Eamon; Mrs Le Blanc passed away peacefully, while in the care of Northwick Park Hospital, Watford Road, Harrow, United Kingdom. Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; daughter Ramona, sons Edward and Raymond, daughters-in-law Caroline and Rebecca, grandchildren Katie, Eva and Jack, brothers and sister, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Monday 31st March 2025, of Mr Thomas J. (TJ) Caplis, Glenpadden, Hollyford, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents James and Johanna and his sisters Maureen, Celia and Pauline; Mr Caplis passed away peacefully, in the presence of his family, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife and best friend Betty, daughters Maureen (Browne) and Michelle, son Jim, daughter-in-law Mary, son-in-law Kevin, adored grandchildren Maebh, Eilís, Moira and Caoimhe, sister Joan Ryan (Tipperary Town), brothers Ailbe and Gerard, sisters-in-law Frances and Gerard’s partner Maura, brother-in-law Jack, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.
