Death Of Nancy Preston, Formerly Templemore, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Saturday last, 15th February 2025, of Mrs Nancy (Ann) Preston (née Kennedy), Ballinteer, Co. Dublin and formerly of Templemore, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband Tony, siblings Mary and Kitty, Mrs Preston passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at Simpsons Hospital.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; daughters Gillian, Karen and Emma, sons-in-law Antony, Glenn and Paul, cherished grandchildren Halle, Katie, Lara, Hana, and Paul, siblings Michael, Peggy, and Dennis, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Preston will repose at Larry Massey’s Funeral Home, Eden Centre, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, [D16 VO46], on tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday February 18th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
Her remains will be received into the Church of St John the Evangelist, Ballinteer Avenue, Ballinteer, Dublin 16, [D16 VK27], on Wednesday morning, February 19th, to repose for Requiem Mass at 10:00am, followed by interment in Mount Venus Cemetery, Mount Venus Rd, Rathfarnham, Dublin, [16D16 RH50].

Death Of Paddy Dunlea, Dundrum, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Saturday 15th February 2025 of Mr Patrick (Paddy) Dunlea Cappamurra, Dundrum, Co. Tipperary; Tipperary (Town), Co. Tipperary and Kilcolgan, Co. Galway.

Pre-deceased by wives, Eileen (Kearney) and Winifred (Lynch); Mr Dunlea passed away peacefully, while in the loving care of staff at Galway University Hospital.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; daughter Caitriona, sisters Sr. Mary Bridget, Peig and Alice, daughter-in-law Olivia, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mr Dunlea will be received into the Church of Jesus Christ Our Saviour, Rossmore, Co. Tipperary to repose for Requiem Mass on tomorrow moring, Tuesday 18th February, at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Death Of John McCormack, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great personal sadness that I learned of the death, yesterday Friday 14th February 2025, of Mr John McCormack, No.10 Kyle Terrace, Kickham Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Mary and James, sisters Kathleen (aged 14) and Nora, and baby brother Philip; Mr McCormack passed away peacefully while in the care of staff at St Theresa’s Nursing Home, Dublin Road, Thurles.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving sisters Marie Carroll (Rossmore) and Margaret Roche (Clonmel), brothers-in-law Michael and Ger, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended relatives, members of Thurles Camera Club, neighbours and friends.

Death Of Tom Gleeson, Formerly Of Templemore, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Sunday 9th February 2025, of Mr Tom Gleeson, Keswick, Cumbria, Northwest England’s Lake District, UK and formerly of Templemore, Co. Tipperary.

The passing of Mr Gleeson is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; brothers Murt and Paddy, sister Peggy and brothers Charlie and Joe, nieces Amanda, Tara and Denise, nephews David, Kevin and Cathal, grandnieces Erin and Lily, sisters-in-law Bridie and Geraldine, friend Kirsten (Fred), extended relatives neighbours and many friends.

Death Of Stephen Gahan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday 11th February 2025 of Mr Stephen Gahan, Fethard Street, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Gahan passed away peacefully, while in the loving care of staff at St Lukes Hospital, Kilkenny City, Co. Kilkenny, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Ellen (Nellie), son Peter and partner Fiona, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.
