It was with great sadness we learned of the death yesterday, Friday 9th February 2018, of Mrs Eileen Shanahan (née Moloney), “St. Joseph’s”, Bohernanave, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her husband John; the passing of Mrs Shanahan is most deeply regretted by her sons Martin and John; daughters Mary (Minchin) and Margaret (McCullagh); sons-in-law; daughters-in-law; grandchildren; great grandchildren; sisters Josephine, Martha and Philomena (Australia); brothers Michael and Liam; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; extended relatives; neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mrs Shanahan will lie in repose at her residence, “St. Joseph’s”, Bohernanave, tomorrow evening, Sunday 11th February, from 4.00pm to 7.00pm.
Removal on Monday morning, February 12th, to the Church of St. Joseph & St. Brigid, Bothar-na-Naomh, to arrive at 9.15am for Funeral Mass at 10.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness we learned of the death, on Wednesday 7th February 2018, of M/s Vineta Semjonova, Loughbrack, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and Thurles town, Co. Tipperary.
Late of the Republic of Latvia (situated in the Baltic region of Northern Europe), M/s Semjonova passed away tragically; most deeply regretted by her relatives; neighbours; friends; work colleagues in Tesco (Thurles) and Hayes Hotel, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of M/s Semjonova will lie in repose on next Sunday morning at McCormack’s Funeral Home, Kilcommon, Cross, Thurles, from 11.00am to 12.00 noon.
Removal will take place to St Patrick’s Church, Kilcommon, for prayers at 12.15pm, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the New Cemetery, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr O’Donnell passed away after a short illness, most deeply regretted by his loving parents Sean and Frances; sister Dymphna; brother Sean; brother-in-law Simon; nieces Ellen & Niamh; nephew Conor; aunts; uncles; extended relatives and many friends.

The earthly remains of Mr O’Donnell will lie in repose at O’Connell’s Funeral Home, Killenaule, Thurles tomorrow evening Friday, from 5.00pm to 7.30pm.
Arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Killenaule on Saturday morning at 11.15am. Funeral Mass will take place at 11.30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Crosscannon Cemetery, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness we learned of the death today, Thursday 8th February 2018, of Sr. Maureen Ryan, Convent of Mercy, Callan North, Co. Kilkenny and late of Garrangrena, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by her sister Anna; Sr. Maureen passed away following a short illness.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her brothers Pat and Willie; nephews; nieces; grandnieces; grandnephews; her Mercy Convent Community, extended relatives and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Sr. Maureen will lie in repose in the Convent Chapel on Friday with evening Prayer of Remembrance at 5.30pm.
Requiem Mass will take place in the Convent Chapel on Saturday morning at 11.00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan, Co. Kilkenny.
