Death Of Tom Meagher, Thurles, Co. Tipperary

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Tuesday 17th April 2018, of Mr Thomas Meagher, Fertiana, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, and formerly Ballingarry (SR), Co. Tipperary.

Mr Meagher passed away peacefully, while in the care of Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross, Thurles.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Eleanor; son Tom; daughter Elaine; grandchildren Matthew, Sarah and Sullivan; his sisters and brothers; Maura, Pat, Vera, Kit and Ollie; sisters-in-law Peggy, Mary and Jan; brothers-in-law John and Tony; nieces; nephews; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Meagher will lie in repose at his residence on tomorrow evening, Thursday from 3.00pm to 8.00pm.

Removal will take place on Friday morning at 11.00am, for Funeral Mass in Holycross Abbey, Thurles at 11.30am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Death Of Richie Maher, Thurles, Co. Tipperary

 It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Sunday 15th April 2018, of Mr Richard (Richie) Maher, Ashgrove, Leugh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr Maher passed away suddenly, most deeply regretted by his heart broken wife Ann (née Connors); brother James (Ennis); sister Mary Ryan; (Gaile); nephews; nieces; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; cousins; work colleagues (Event Power); coursing fraternity; extended relatives; neighbours and many good friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Maher will arrive at the Cathedral of The Assumption, Thurles on Wednesday, 18th April, at 7.30pm.

Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday, 19th April, at 11.00am, followed by cremation afterwards in Shannon Crematorium, Illaunamanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare at 3.00pm.

Death Of Larry Walsh, Garrane, Dualla, Tipperary

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Saturday 14th April 2018, of Mr Larry Walsh, Garrane, Dualla, Co. Tipperary.

Beloved brother of the late Maureen; Mr Walsh passed away peacefully, most deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary; sons Karl and Colin; daughters Gillian and Yvette; sons-in-law; daughter-in-law; grandchildren; brothers; sisters; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; extended relatives; neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr Walsh will lie in repose at Devitt’s Funeral Parlour, The Green, Cashel, tomorrow evening, Monday, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

Removal will take place on Tuesday morning, to the Church of Our Lady of Fatima, Dualla, for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, followed immediately afterwards by interment in Holycross Cemetery, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death of Catherine McEnaney, Formerly Clonoulty, Tipperary

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death today, April 13th 2018, of Mrs Catherine (Kitty) McEnaney (née Maher), High Road, Killmacomma, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Clonoulty Curragh, Cashel, Co. Tipperary

Beloved wife of the late Pakie; Mrs McEnaney passed away peacefully while in the loving care of the Staff at St. Anne’s Ward, St. Patrick’s Hospital, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving sons David and John; sisters Mary Butler, Nellie Carmody, Bridget O’Gorman and Joan Kinane; brothers Paddy, Mick and Tom; daughter-in-law Angela; grandsons Philip, Thomas and Marcus; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; extended relatives and friends.

The earthly remains of Mrs McEnaney will lie in repose at Devitt’s Funeral Parlour, The Green, Cashel on Sunday evening from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

Removal will take place on Monday morning to St. John the Baptist Church, Clonoulty, for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, followed immediately afterwards by interment in Ardmayle Cemetery, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Eddie O’Meara M.C.C. Mullinahone, Thurles

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Thursday 12th April 2018, of Mr Eddie O’Meara M.C.C. Ballydonnell, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Mr O’Meara passed away following a short illness, while surrounded by his loving family, at the Mercy Hospital, Grenville Place, Co. Cork.

Predeceased by his son Frank; the passing of Mr O’Meara is most deeply regretted by his wife Josephine; sons Sean, Kevin, Aiden, Edwin and Joe; his eight grandchildren; daughters-in-law; niece; nephews; extended relatives; council colleagues; neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements
The earthly remains of Mr O’Meara will lie in repose at his residence in Ballydonnell, Mullinahone, Thurles, on Sunday afternoon, 15th April, from 2.00pm to 7.00pm,  with removal at 7.30pm to St. Michael’s Church, Mullinahone.

Requiem Mass on Monday, April 16th, at 12.00 noon, followed by burial in St. Michaels Cemetery, Killaghy, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
