Death Of John Browne, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great personal sadness that I learned of the death, today Friday 3rd November 2023, of Retired Garda Mr John Browne, Roscrea Road, Templemore, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Knockerra, Co. Clare.

Pre-deceased by sister Mary; Mr Browne passed away peacefully.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Elsie, daughters Colette and Valerie, sons-in-law Alex and Mark, grandchildren Rachel, Lucy and Charlie, sisters Chrissie and Sadie, brothers Frankie and Michael, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Browne will repose for Requiem Mass in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Templemore, at 12:00 noon on Monday November 6th, followed by Cremation on Tuesday, November 7th at Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare, [V14 PV30].

Death Of Barbara O’Dwyer, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Friday 3rd November 2023, of Ms Barbara O’Dwyer, ‘Bethel’, Mill Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Ms O’Dwyer passed away, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her heartbroken family, her parents Bernie and Eamon, sister Yvonne, brother Matthew, brother-in-law Marc, Matthew’s partner Michelle, nieces Laila, Eva and Billie, nephew Nathan, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Ms O’Dwyer will repose at Dan Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Upper Kickham Street, Dublin Road, Thurles, on tomorrow afternoon, Saturday November 4th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday afternoon in Thurles Baptist Church, Graigue, Moycarkey, Thurles, at 2:00pm, followed by interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Sean Gilmore, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Wednesday last, November 1st 2023, of Mr Sean Gilmore, Castleknock, Co. Dublin and formerly of Thurles, Co. Tipperary and Cararea, Milltown, Co. Galway.

Pre-deceased by his parents John and Mary and his sister Mary Browne; Mr Gilmore passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, while in the care of staff at the Mater Hospital, Co. Dublin.

His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Marian, son David, daughter Rachael, brother Michael, daughter-in-law Sheila, son-in-law Dave, his beloved grandchildren Robyn, Joe, Ella and DJ, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

The earthly remains of Mr Gilmore will repose at Glynn’s Funeral Home, High Street, Tuam, Co Galway (H54 VC53) on tomorrow evening, Friday, November 3rd, from 6.00 pm until 8.00pm.
His remains will be received into the Church of St Joseph, Milltown, Co. Galway (H54 EP02), to further repose for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Kilclooney Cemetery, Milltown, Co. Galway.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 1st November 2023, of Mrs Patricia (Pat) Ivory (née Bryan), Brittas Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Cloneyquin, Portarlington, Co. Offaly.

Pre-deceased by her loving husband Tom, sister Bernie and daughter Gillian; the passing of Mrs Ivory is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughters Anne Marie, Michelle, Sharon, Louise, sons-in-law Jim, Steve, Ronan and Matt, grandchildren Bob, Gillian, Anna, David, Cian, Sarah, Lauryn, Tom, Ben, Aaron, Cruz and Jett, sisters and brothers and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews.

Death Of Rodge Dwan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Wednesday 1st November 2023, of Mr Rodge Dwan, Glenbane, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his wife Eileen (Troy) and his sister Mai (Maher); Mr Dwan passed away peacefully at his home while in the loving care of his grand-daughters Eileen, Mary, Kate and Michelle.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his sons Ruairi, Michael and John, daughter Mary, daughters-in-law Triona (Maher), Catherine (Bourke) and Noreen (Larkin), son-in-law Willie (Fleming), 16 grandchildren, brother Liam, sister-in-law Nora, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

His remains will be received into the former Cistercian Monastery Abbey at Holycross Thurles on Friday morning, November 3rd, at 11:00am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
