It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, today Monday 11th May 2026, of Mrs Bridget (Biddy) Cantwell (née Fahey), Ballypatrick, Bouladuff, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Gurteenamoe, Rossmore, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her husband Jim, brothers Mick, Paddy, Martin, Philip and Jimmy, sisters Kitty, Mary, Phyllis, Una and Ann; Mrs Cantwell passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughters Catherine (Quish), Nora (Ryan), Ann, Mary (Mcloughlin) and Bridget (Corrigan), sons Thomas and Michael, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, sisters Sheila and Theresa, brother John, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours, many friends and carers

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Cantwell will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Castle Quarter, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, (Eircode E41 VX81), on Tuesday afternoon from 5:30pm until 7:30pm same evening.
Her funeral cortège will will be received into the Church of St Laurence O’Toole, Munroe, Bouladuff, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, (Eircode E41 RC96), on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30pm to further repose for Requiem Mass at 2:00pm, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in nearby St Michael’s Cemetery, Bouladuff, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
