Death Of John Power, Late Of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Tuesday 3rd February 2026, of Mr John Power, Leabeg, Ballycumber, Co. Offaly, and late of Ballingarry, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents Matthew and Bridget, brother Larry and sisters, Biddy, Mary, Kitty, Joan and Sarah (Sal); Mr Power passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of staff at the Mater Hospital, Dublin.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Angela, daughters, Jennie and Kerrie, sons, Matthew and Daniel, daughters-in-law Valerie and Sinéad, son-in-law Gareth, beloved grandchildren, Louise, Katie, JP, Senan and Lochlann, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Power will repose at The Granary (Eircode R35 NX30), adjacant to St. Manchan’s Church, Boher, Co Offaly, (Eircode R35 NX30), on Friday afternoon, February 6th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm same evening.

His remains will be received into the Church of St. Manchan on Saturday morning, February 7th, to further repose for Requiem Mass, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in the adjoining graveyard.

Death Of Martin Moynihan, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Monday 2nd February 2026 of Mr Martin Moynihan, Moyne, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Milestone, Upperchurch, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by his parents, brothers Noel and Michael; Mr Moynihan, sadly, passed away unexpectedly at his place of ordinary residence.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Geraldine (née Redmond), daughters Margaret and her partner Jason, Martina and her partner Gearoid, grandchildren Paddy, Sean and Clodagh, sisters Marian, Eileen, Claire, Edel and Patricia, brothers Sean, Paddy, Paul, Gerard, Tom and David, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

His remains will be received into the Church of the Sacred Heart, Cappanaleigh, Upperchurch, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, (Eircode E41 V389), on Saturday morning February 7th, at 11:00am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in nearby Upperchurch Cemetery, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Death Of Shauna Dunne, Thurles Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Tuesday 3rd February 2026, of Ms Shauna Dunne, Tarmon Drive, Thurles Co. Tipperary and formerly of Childers Park, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her uncle Eddie; the passing of Ms Dunne is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving partner Paul (Sheehan), mother Sandra and her partner Denis, sister Naoimi and her partner Aidan, grandmother Peggy, aunty Suzie, uncle Noel (Connors), grandfather Ned, Paul’s mother Enda and his sisters Denise and Jennifer, grand-uncles, grand-aunts, cousins, neighbours and many great friends.

Following the wishes of Ms Dunne her funeral cortège, containing her earthly remains, will be received into the Church of St Joseph and St Brigid, Bothar-na-Naomh, Thurles on Friday morning, February 6th, at 10:30am, to repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by a Service of Cremation at Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare, (Eircode V14 PV30), at 3:00pm.

Death Of Sr Nano Purcell, Late Of Thurles, Co Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Sunday 1st February 2026, of Sr Nano Purcell, Presentation Convent, Clondalkin, Dublin and late of Lisdonowly, Moyne, Co Tipperary.

In her 96th year and pre-deceased by her parents Thomas and Brigid, brothers Pat and Tommy and sister Bridie; Sr Nano passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Clondalkin Lodge Nursing Home, Dublin.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving brother Fr Sean (Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer,Limerick), sister Maura (Mulumby), her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandniece, members of her Presentation Community, neighbours and friends.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Sunday 1st February 2026, of Mr Thomas (Tommy) Keane, McDonagh Terrace, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Glenreigh, Holycross, Thurles, Co, Tipperary and Kilclogher, Kilbaha, Co. Clare.

Pre-deceased by his parents Thomas and Bridget, brothers, sisters, parents-in-law Nora and Paddy Skehan; Mr Keane passed away surrounded by his loving family whine in the wonderful care of the staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, South Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; wife Breda (née Skehan), sons Andy, Paul and Eddie, daughters Teresa and Esther, grandchildren Cillian, Ada, Elliot, Oran, Charlie, Marie, Lana, Kian and Maia, daughters-in-law Lorna and Marie, son-in-law Gerard, twin brother Martin and brother Michael (Florida), sisters Teresa and Betty (Australia), nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.
