It was with sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Wednesday 1st October 2025, of Ms Teresa Crowe, Beakstown, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Croke Street, Thurles; The Bronx, New York and Leonia, New Jersey, USA.
Pre-deceased by her parents Jim and Brigid, brother Willie, sister Mary (Corbett) and Alfonso (Farrell); Ms Crowe passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at Ardeen Nursing Home, Thurles.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; brothers Paddy and Ephren, sister Philomena (Lanphier), nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, sister-in-law Leslie (Crowe), brother-in-law Danny (Corbett), extended relatives, former colleagues at New York GAA, neighbours and a wide circle of friends in Ireland and America.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Ms Crowe will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on tomorrow afternoon, Friday, 3rd October, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles at 7:30pm same evening.
Requiem Mass will be offered for Ms Crowe on Saturday morning, October 4th at 11:00am, followed by a Service of Cremation in Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare, (Eircode V14 PV30) at 3:00pm.
