To whom it concerns, I am the son of Mary Buckeridge who was a member of Thurles branch of ICA from 1964 -2014. During her time she held many positions in the Guild and at Federation level. Mary died in January of 2015 and her husband, John in June 2023.
I am the executor of his will and have come into a large collection of documents, diaries, programmes etc relating to my mother’s time as a member.
I am wondering if the ICA in Thurles or elsewhere would like to have these for their archives as, I think that they may be useful as socially historical records. Perhaps , you might be able to indicate to me the relevant person or section of the ICA with whom I might contact. It will take me some time to process the entire documents left by my father but I don’t wish to destroy documents that may be useful to others. I hope that you can contact me at 087-9116701.
