It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Thursday 29th October 2026, of Mr Michael O’Connell, Liberty Square, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his wife Kathleen (née Carroll), parents Michael and Annie; Mr O’Connell passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, while the care of staff at University Hospital, Waterford.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; son Neville, daughter-in-law Susanne, adored grandson Finn, sister Mary (Finn), brother-in-law Jim (Finn), nephew James, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, good friends both in Thurles, Co. Tipperary and in Tenerife, Spain’s Canary Islands.

Funeral Arrangements.
Following Mr O’Connell’s wishes a private service of cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will take place in Thurles, Co. Tipperary at a later date.
