It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, today Monday 31st August 2026, of Fr. Larry Wrenn formerly of Irishtown, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, West Virginia, USA, and Monastery Close, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents Con and Ellen Wrenn, his brother Fr. John Wrenn and his sister Breda (Corbett); Fr. Wrenn passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; nephew Larry, niece Helen, niece-in-law Elaine, nephew-in-law Joe, grandnephews and grandnieces Faye, Quinn, Nell, Ada, Kate, Mai, JJ and Lawrence, cousins, extended relatives, colleagues in the religious community, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Fr. Wrenn will repose tomorrow evening, Tuesday September 1st, at the home of his nephew Larry, (Eircode E41 D327), from 6:00pm until 7:30pm.
His funeral cortège will be received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, (Eircode E41 A528), at 1:30pm on Wednesday afternoon to further repose for Funeral Mass at 2:00pm, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Lognafulla, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
