Death Of Ann Dunne, Thurles, Co. Tipperary

t was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Sunday 30th August 2026, of Ms Ann Dunne, Kilfithmone, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and late of Kilfithmone, Borrisoleigh, Thurles; Rathkeevan Nursing Home & Garryshane House, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her beloved parents Jimmy and Susan, her brother Tom and her nephews Kevin and Edward Dunne; Ms Dunne passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital Clonmel, South Tipperary.

Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; twin brother Jimmy and his wife Siobhan, brother Ned, sisters Breda, Sadie and Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Ms Dunne will repose at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Nenagh, (Eircode E45 KN93), tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday, September 1st from 5:00pm, concluding with Rosary at 6:30pm, same evening.
Her funeral cortège will be received into the Church of St Brigid, Pallas Street, Borrisoleigh, Thurles on Wednesday morning, September 2nd, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St Brigid’s Cemetery, Borrisoleigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

For those persons who would wish to attend Requiem Mass for Ms Dunne, but for reasons cannot, same can be viewed streamed live online. (Livestream link to follow).
