It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Friday 21st August 2026 of Mr John Doherty, Rossestown, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his parents Joe and Margaret, brother Oliver and sister Margaret; Mr Doherty passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of staff at Milford Care Centre.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving sister Mary (Flynn), brothers Eddie and Frank, sisters-in-law, niece Siobhan (Byron) and husband Michael, Leigh, Ken and Eamon and their mother Marie, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The remains of Mr Doherty will repose at the home of his niece Siobhan Byron, Rossestown, Thurles, (Eircode E41 RH27) on tomorrow afternoon, Sunday 23rd August from 4:00pm until 6:00pm same evening.
A gathering of family and close friends will take place, to celebrate the life of Mr Doherty and to say their final farewells at same address, on Monday August 24th at 12:00 noon, followed by private cremation later.
