It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Tuesday 11th August 2026, of Mrs Mary Buckley (née Cahill), No.4 Shyan Terrace, Mitchel Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by her husband George, her parents Mary and Jack, brothers Mattie and Dickie, sisters Carmel and Rita; Mrs Buckley, sadly, passed away while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, South Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughters Edel and Miriam, sons Frank and Paul, son-in-law Finbarr, grandchildren Emma and John, nieces, nephew, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Buckley will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Upper Kickham Street, Dublin Road, Thurles, (Eircode E41 XY47) on tomorrow afternoon, Thursday August 13th, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, before being received into the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles, (Eircode E41 A528) at 7:45pm, same evening.
Funeral Mass for Mrs Buckley will be offered on Friday morning at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in St Patrick’s cemetery, Moyne Road, Lognafulla, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
