It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death, today Tuesday 11th August 2026, of Mr James (Jimmy C) Cotter, Ashgrove, Tallaght, Co. Dublin, and formerly of Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Pre-deceased by his brother Richie, sister Abina and nephew Jerry; Mr Cotter passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family; loving wife Eileen, daughters Aimeé and Katherine, sons James and Shane and their partners, grandchildren, Casey, Daniel, Dawn, Seàn, Dean and Willow, brothers Gerry and Willie, sisters Mary, Anne and Catherine, godchildren, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Cotter will repose at his family home, (Eircode D24 V4F8), for family and close friends, on tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday August 12th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm, same evening, concluding with prayers.
His remains will be received into the Church of St Mark, Springfield, Tallaght, Co. Dublin, on Thursday morning, August 13th, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 10:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards, in Newlands Cross Cemetery, Ballymount Road, Ballymount, Dublin 24, (Eircode D24 KICY).
