It was with great sadness that we learned of the death today Wednesday 7th October 2026, of Mrs Catherine (Kitty) Ryan (née Dunne) Green Street, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Lacken, Drombane, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
In her 100th year and pre-deceased by her husband Pat and her brother Jerry; Mrs Ryan passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at The Residence Nursing Home, Bohernatounish Road Roundabout, Loughboy, Co. Kilkenny.
Her passing is most deeply regretted, sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family; loving daughter Norah (Keogh), sons Tom, EJ, Gerard (Bishopstown) and Dermot (Kiltoom), son-in-law Kevin, daughters-in-law Phil, Alma, Irene and Helen, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister Mollie (Bourke), sister-in-law Eileen (Dunne), nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Ryan will repose at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan. Co. Kilkenny, (Eircode R95 Y443), on Friday afternoon, October 9th 2026, from 5:00pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7:00pm, before being received into the nearby Church of the Assumption, Callan, Co. Kilkenny, (Eircode R95 VK82), same evening.
Requiem Mass for Mrs Ryan will be offered on Saturday morning, October 10th, at 11:00am, followed by interment, immediately afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan, Co. Kilkenny.
