It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Monday 28th August 2023 of Mrs Margaret Cooney (née O’Sullivan), Boulick, Gortnahoe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
In her 87th year and pre-deceased by her husband Martin, brothers and sisters Billy, Kitty, Mary, Mickey, Tommy and Joanie; Mrs Cooney passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, while in the care of staff at University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her adoring family; Michael, Josephine, Catherine, Gerardine, Martin and Thomas, sons-in-law Michael and Eddie, daughters-in-law Emma and Lori, grandchildren Róisín, Éimear, Aoífe, Éamonn, Sinéad and Dan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Cooney will repose at Doyle’s Funeral Home, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny (Eircode E41 XO38) on Wednesday afternoon from 5:00pm until 7:30pm, followed by removal to the Church of St. Oliver and St. Patrick, Glengoole, Thurles, arriving at 8.30pm same evening.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 11:30am, followed by interment in Our Lady and St. Kevin’s Church graveyard, Littleton, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
