Death Of Pat Joseph Hanly Jnr., Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Wednesday 23rd August 2023, of Mr Patrick Joseph (Pat) Hanly Jnr., Richard’s Castle, Ludlow and formerly of Knockilterra, Killenaule, Thurles, Tipperary

Pre-deceased by his grandparents, brother David and brother-in-law Sean: Mr Hanly passed away unexpectedly, while aged in his 52nd year.

His passing is most deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heart broken wife Alison, son Liam and daughter Niamh, his devoted parents Pat and Patsy, heartbroken brother Andrew and sisters Nichola, Denise and Cynthia, his father-in-law Les, mother-in-law Valerie, his brothers-in-law Gavin and Howard, sisters-in-law Emma and Kate, nephews Shane, Conor, Jack, Harry and Tadhg, his nieces Ciara and Una, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Mr Hanly’s grace and warmth touched the lives of all who knew him. Patrick was a hard-working, genuine, honest, caring perfect gentleman. Selfless and loving to all who knew him. His legacy of love, laughter and kindness will be carried on through the many special memories and the hearts he touched. His beautiful and kind heart will be sadly missed but never ever forgotten.

The earthly remains of Mr Hanly will repose for a funeral service at All Saints Church, Richards Castle, Ludlow, U.K. [SY8 4EG] on Thursday morning, September 7th, at 11:30am, followed by interment in St. Bartholomew’s graveyard, Ludlow, U.K. [SY8 4ET].

A memorial Mass has also been arranged to take place in St.Mary’s Church, Bailey Street, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, on Saturday morning, September 16th, at 11:30am.
