A Song For A Sunday.

Let there be peace on earth.

Vocals: Crystal Gayle. Composers: Jill Jackson & Sy Miller.

This song is performed worldwide throughout the year, and particularly during the Christmas season.
It is included in the hymnals of a variety of Christian denominations.
It is also sung by those not connected with religious or spiritual matters. Keeping in mind an extract from the prayer Desiderata (“Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be.”) the words “God as our Father” is replaced with “Earth as our Mother” and “Father” is replaced with “creator”. The words “brother” is replaced with “family” or “each other”.

Let there be peace on earth,
And let it begin with me.
Let there be peace on earth,
The peace that was meant to be.
With God as our father,
Brothers all are we.
Let me walk with my brother,
In perfect harmony.
Let peace began with me.
Let this be the moment now.
With every step I take,
Let this be my solemn vow.
To take each moment,
And live each moment in peace eternally.
Let there be peace on earth,
And let it began with me.
Let there be peace on earth,
And let it begin with me.
Let there be peace on earth,
The peace that was meant to be.
To take each moment,
And live each moment in peace eternally.
Let there be peace on earth,
And let it began with me.

George just wondering what you and your readers think about Christmas Cards this year. We were shocked to see the disgusting ones here in our shopping centers.
Not one available to do with the spirit of Christmas. Thought I would try the Salvation Army shop but again to much about collecting money for their cause. I know we get beautiful ones from Ireland with the real meaning of Christmas on them. We have relation in Canada who makes her own beautiful cards so now we will ask her if she could do some for us next year. One shop had the most disgusting ones what is going on here. To many woke nonsense no respect for others. Did you watch the world cup. Mind you George we were happy the Aussies lost because that’s all we needed if they had won. Our nights TV would be bombarded with nothing else only how great they were HA. Take care. Katie
