It was with a great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, 16th May 2022, of Mr Edward Phillips, Pinewood Estate, Killarney, Co. Kerry and formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Mr Phillips passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff on the Palliative Care Team, of University Hospital Kerry.
Pre-deceased by his parents Ellie and Jim, his brothers Michael, Paddy and Billy and his sister Mary; the passing of Mr Phillips is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Joan (O’Connor), his immediate loving family Eleanor, Emma and Edward, son-in-law Pat, daughter-in-law Margaret, grandchildren Oisín and Dabhain, brother Jimmy, sister Hannah, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and many great friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Phillips will repose at O’Shea’s Funeral Home, Moneamore, Killarney, Co. Kerry on Wednesday evening, May 18th, from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, before being received into St. Mary’s Cathedral, New Street, Killarney.
His body will further repose for Requiem Mass on Thursday morning, May 19th at 10:30am, before being privately cremated on Friday, May 20th.
For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mr Phillips, but due to distance or ill health are unable to do so, same can be viewed online HERE.
