Death Of Mary B. Culliton, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday, Saturday 12th February 2022, of Mrs Mary B. Culliton (née O’Gorman), Mountmellick, Co. Laois and formerly of Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband Tomás and well known in many circles including Teaching, Comhaltas, ICA, Pro-Life, Credit Union, Foróige, Girl-Guides/Scouts, Sliabh Bloom Association, Laois Heritage Society, Laois Tourism and other activities; Mrs Culliton passed away peacefully at her place of residence after a very short illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her immediate family, Kathleen, John, Margaret, Tracy, Anne, David, Sinéad, Eoin and Gráinne, her sisters and brothers, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Culliton will repose in Moloney’s Funeral Home, Sarsfield St, Ballycullenbeg, Mountmellick, Co. Laois, this afternoon, Sunday February 13th, from 3:00pm, with recital of The Rosary this evening at 6:00pm.
Removal will take place from her home on Tuesday morning at 10:30am to be received into the Church of St. Joseph, Sarsfield St, Ballycullenbeg, Mountmellick, Co. Laoish, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in nearby St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Cloncosney, Mountmellick, Co. Laois.

[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending Requiem Mass will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing, face covering, with no hand shaking.]
