Death Of Helen Fallon, Formerly Thurles Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday, Saturday 12th February 2022 of Mrs Helen Fallon (née Corbett), Dominic Street, Portumna, Co. Galway and formerly of Ballingarry, South Riding, Thurles Co. Tipperary.

Mrs Fallon passed away following a short illness, borne with dignity and courage, while in the care of staff at Galway Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.

Her passing is most deeply missed by her adoring husband Gerry, daughters; Geraldine, Edel and Helen, son Martin, adored grandchildren Joe and Rìan. sons-in-law, Pat Quinn, Adrian Molloy and Enda D’Arcy, nieces, nephews and especially her godson Pat Fallon, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, wonderful neighbours and loyal friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Fallon will repose on Tuesday evening, February 15th, at Dignity Funeral Home, Portumna Retirement Village, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
The funeral cortège, bearing the remains of Mrs Fallon, will leave her home on Wednesday morning February 16th. Same will take the route via Patrick Street, before being received into the Church of St. Brigid, Portumna, Co. Galway, at 10:45am to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, followed by cremation at Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare at 2:00pm.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mrs Fallon, but are unable to do so, due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic; same can be viewed online HERE.

[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending Requiem Mass will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing, face covering, with no hand shaking.]
