It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday, Saturday 5th February 2022, of Mr John (Johnny) Ryan, Cormackstown, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by his brother Eddie and sister Chris; Mr Ryan passed away peacefully at his place of residence, surrounded by his loving family.
His passing is most deeply regretted by his devoted wife Peggy (neé O’Keeffe), sons Pat, Johnny and Michael, daughters Cathryn, Paula and Ann-Marie, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Mary and Linda, sons-in-law Michael, Padraig and Derek, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law Mary, Pat and Margaret, extended relatives, great neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mr Ryan will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Monday evening, 7th February, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
His body will be received into the former Cistercian Abbey Church at Holycross, Thurles, on Tuesday afternoon, February 8th, at 1:30pm to further repose for Requiem Mass at 2:00pm, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mr Ryan, but are unable to do so, due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic; same can be viewed online HERE.
[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending Requiem Mass will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing, face covering, with no hand shaking.]
