Omicron Cases Reach 14,181 In Past 24 Hours On Irish Mainland.

Over the past 24 hours, the Department of Health in the Irish Republic have confirmed 9,938 Covid-19 cases; of which 5,265 are identified from PCR tests and 4,673 having logged on as having identified positive antigen tests, using the HSE portal online.

Death Of Bernie Waldron, Formerly Of Hollyford, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, yesterday Monday 24th January 2022, of Mrs Bernadette (Bernie) Waldron (née English), Leopardstown, Co. Dublin and formerly of Hollyford, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband Philip; Mrs Waldron passed away peacefully, while in the care of staff at Foxrock Nursing Home.
