Death Of Sr. Maria Quinlan, Formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death, on Friday 14th January 2022, of Sr. Maria Quinlan, Sisters of Saint Joseph of Annecy, Llantarnam Abbey, Cwmbran, Wales and formerly of Glown, Upperchurch, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her brother Michael; Sr. Maria passed away peacefully, following a short illness, while in the care of staff at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport, Wales, UK.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her sister Bridie Ryan, brother-in-law Seamus, sister-in- law Nonie (Quinlan), nephews, nieces, her community sisters, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends both in Upperchurch, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and in Wales.

Requiescat in Pace.

Funeral Arrangements.

Sr. Maria will be received into Llantarnam Abbey, Cwmbran, United Kingdom, to repose for Requiem Mass on Monday morning, January 24th, 2022, at 10:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

A Memorial Mass, celebrating the life of Sr. Maria, will take place in the Church of the Sacred Heart Upperchurch Thurles, Co. Tipperary, on Sunday morning, February 6th, 2022 at 11:00am.
