Death Of Kathleen Berry, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It was with a great personal sadness that I learned of the death, on Saturday 22nd January 2022, of Mrs Kathleen Berry (née Jordan), Collins Park, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

Pre-deceased by her husband Sam and her son Sam Jr.; Mrs Berry passed away peacefully following a short illness, while in the care of staff at Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Crosspatrick, Co. Kilkenny.

Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving family, daughters Marian and Jenny, sons William and Patrick, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Tim (O’Regan) and Jonathan (Simm), daughters-in-law Lynn and Sheena, brothers Michael and Christopher, sisters Phyllis, Patsy and Anna, nephews, nieces, sister-in-law AnnMarie, brother-in-law Joe, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mrs Berry will repose at Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles, on Wednesday next, January 26th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, before being received into the Church of St. Joseph & St. Brigid , Bothar na Naomh, Thurles at 7:45pm.
Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday morning, January 27th, at 10:00am, followed by interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Moyne Road, Thurles. Co. Tipperary.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mrs Berry, but are unable to do so, due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic; same can be viewed online HERE.

[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending Requiem Mass will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing, face covering, with no hand shaking.]
