Death Of Billy Dillon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It is with the deepest regret that we learned of the death, today Sunday 1st August 2021, of Mr William (Billy) Dillon, Lisnagrough, Holycross, Thurles, Co. Tipperary; formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary and Kylebeg, Durrow, Co Laois.

Pre-deceased by his grandson Frankie, sisters Maureen and Patty; Mr Dillon passed away peacefully at his place of residence, surrounded by his loving family.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving and devoted wife Brigid, daughters Catherine, Judith and Edel, sons Martin, Tom and William, grandchildren Ned, William, Murt, Elisha, Cathal, Chloe, Alannah, John, Liam, Leah, Padraig and Ella, sons-in-law Manus, Francis and Aonghus, daughters-in-law Joanne, Julianne and Lorna, sister Bridie O’Rourke, (Lusk), brothers Marty (Kylebeg, Durrow) and Paul (Killeshin, Co Laois), nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law Joe, Mick, Jim, Paddy and Tommy, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr Dillon will repose in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Monday evening, August 2nd, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
His body will be received into the Abbey Church, at Holycross Thurles, on Tuesday morning, August 3rd, at 11:00am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended the funeral service for Mr Dillon, but are unable to do so, due to current coronavirus pandemic restrictions; same can be viewed online HERE.

[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending (limited to 50 mourners) will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing and face covering.]
