Death Of Paddy O’Gorman, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

It is with the deepest regret that we report the death, today Saturday 3rd July 2021, of Mr Patrick (Paddy) O’Gorman, Holycross, Thurles, Co.Tipperary; Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Gortfree, Kilmanagh, Co Kilkenny.

Pre-deceased by his parents John and Madge, brother Andy, sisters Mary, Rita and Betty, brothers-in-law Pat, Johnny and Eddie and sister-in-law Helen; Mr O’Gorman passed away peacefully, following a short illness, while in the care of staff at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, south Co. Tipperary.

His passing is most deeply regretted by his loving wife Kay (née Hayes), daughter Margaret, sons Patrick, Kieran and Mark, grandchildren Ella, Holly and Jack, daughters-in-law Sara, Theresa and Donna, Margaret’s partner Conor, brothers James, John and Christy, sister Anna, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Arrangements.

The earthly remains of Mr O’Gorman will repose at his residence, for family and close friends, on Sunday afternoon, July 4th, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
The funeral cortège, bearing his body, will leave his residence on Monday morning, July 5th, at 10:30am, to be received into the Abbey Church of Holycross, Thurles, at 11:00am, to further repose for Requiem Mass at 11:30am.
Interment will take place immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

For the many persons who would have liked to have attended the funeral service for Mr O’Gorman, but are unable to do so, due to current coronavirus pandemic restrictions; same can be viewed online HERE.

[NB: Due to Public Health Guidelines, regarding C-19 virus restrictions; those attending (limited to 50 mourners) will continue to observe strict adherence to social distancing, face covering and the refraining from Handshaking]
