It was with great sadness and regret that we learned of the death, on Monday 19th April 2021, of Mr John Joseph Purcell, Peterborough, Ontario, Canada and formerly of Borroway, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Predeceased by his brothers Billy, Tommy and his sister Kathleen; the passing of Mr Purcell is most deeply regretted by his wife Janett, daughters Peggy, Joanne and Mary-Jane, sons Paul and John, grandchildren, brother Paddy, sisters Mary, Joan and Lal, nephews, nieces, brother-in-law, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The funeral service for Mr Purcell will take place on Saturday, April 24th, in Canada.
Note: A memorial Mass for Mr Purcell will take place on Sunday morning, April 25th, in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Cathedral Street, Thurles at 11:00am.
