Thurles – Looking Back.

Cathedral Street, east of Thurles town centre, in Co. Tipperary has possibly undergone the most change in the last 50 years.

Gone of course is Ryan’s brewery stores, positioned in the monochrome picture hereunder, dividing Church Lane from Kickham Street (The Pike). Same has been replaced by modern shop units and a petrol station.

Tipperary Gardaí Make Further Drug Seizures.

Yesterday, February 11th, 2021, members of the Gardaí within Cahir District from the Detective unit and Drugs Branch carried out a search in the townland of Ballydrehid, Cahir, South Co. Tipperary. During their investigations a quantity of Cannabis herb and cash, to the value of €3,500 was seized.
