Yesterday, February 11th, 2021, members of the Gardaí within Cahir District from the Detective unit and Drugs Branch carried out a search in the townland of Ballydrehid, Cahir, South Co. Tipperary. During their investigations a quantity of Cannabis herb and cash, to the value of €3,500 was seized.
Follow up enquiries and subsequent searches in South Tipperary in the townland of Loughloher, Cahir and the area of the village of Ardfinnan, were conducted, leading to the further location and seizure of Cannabis herb, with an approximate street value of €15,000.
Two men were arrested and interviewed at Cahir Garda Station. Both males were subsequently charged to appear court, in relation to the stated offences.
