It was with great sadness that we learned of the death yesterday, Tuesday 26th January 2021, of Mrs Brigid (Biddy) Carey (née Hanly), Cummermore, Kilcommon, Thurles, Co. Tipperary
Pre-deceased by her loving husband Patrick; Mrs Carey, in her 93rd year, passed away suddenly, while in the care of staff at University Hospital, Limerick.
Her passing is most deeply regretted by her loving siblings John (Ballyerk,Two-Mile-Borris, Thurles), Tom, Eileen, Pat, Donie, Matt, Mary, Gerry and Larry, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements.
The earthly remains of Mrs Carey will repose tomorrow evening, Thursday, January 28th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at McCormack’s Funeral Home, Kilcommon, Thurles, for family and close friends only, with strict adherence to social distancing, face coverings and with hand shaking forbidden.
Mrs Carey will be received into St. Patrick’s Church, Kilcommon, Thurles, for Funeral Mass at 11:30am on Friday morning, followed by interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
For the many persons who would have liked to have attended Requiem Mass for Mrs Carey, but are unable to do so, due to the current coronavirus pandemic, same funeral service can be viewed online HERE.
